As an Army man my father was stationed with the Indian embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka for 6 years. During this was time we as a family moved to Colombo. Having brought up all over India as Army mans son it had fill out a routine for me to land in a brand- advanced place and begin everything a new-fashioned. However, moving to Colombo brought a new set of challenges that I had not encountered before. Studying in a multicultural international school was a new approach pattern to me at that time. Moreover, the children in my split were a mix of commingle nationalities; requireing with them was another challenge. Since, I was used to be in a new place every couple of years, and being adjustable and accommodating by nature I was at alkali in a couple of months. I erudite local language, made friends with the kids and all was well. In contrast, it was not straight for my mother, who was a homemaker and not a very familiar(predicate) in either the local language or English.
on that point was greathearted shift from the typical Indian middle class line to an elitist embassy culture of opulence, comfort and parties. She felt totally alienated in this new setup that eventually led us returning(a) back to India with my father left to complete his upgrade on his own. This chapter in my life left a profound mind of learning, and showed me both the faces of culture shock.
